Non-essential expenses include costs that contribute to comfort, entertainment, or luxury rather than meeting basic needs. These are discretionary expenses that can be adjusted based on personal preferences and financial priorities. 

Set aside about 1 hour of your and your hubby’s time on a monthly basis, preferably during the weekend. Print your last month's bank statement, get your magic notepad with a pan, find a quiet place with minimal distractions, get your hubby on your side, and let the fun begin! Talk to your husband and discuss your essential needs and priorities together. Prayerfully consider the next steps toward your financial freedom on what non-essential expenses you can agree to cut down.
