I’m Diana, a financial coach, simple money systems specialist, and a mom to four children. I don’t teach from a quiet or perfect life. I teach from inside the mess: the advocacy, the emotional load, the unpredictable days, and the weight of carrying everything for everyone. Every strategy shared here has been shaped and tested by real life - for real moms with real family needs.
Simple Money Systems was built for moms like you who hold emotional, mental, and financial responsibility every single day. This isn’t about doing more or trying harder. It’s about simplifying money decisions, reducing pressure, and creating a clear structure so your finances stop adding to the load and start supporting the life you’re holding together.
Inside the podcast, you’ll get simple systems, real-life examples, mindset shifts, and weekly encouragement to help you:
⭐ Take control of your paycheck
⭐ Master budgeting without burnout

⭐ Grow savings and build financial security
⭐ Create a future you love

A budget allows you to prioritize essential expenses over non-essential ones, helping you allocate funds to what matters most by providing a structured framework to allocate funds based on importance and necessity.
A budget reveals your current financial situation, enabling you to set realistic and achievable goals based on your income and expenses. Budgeting includes saving for emergencies and special needs by providing a financial safety net. Having an emergency fund can reduce the need for impulsive spending when unexpected expenses arise. A budget helps you create a structured plan for debt reduction by allocating more money toward debt repayment, reducing financial stress, and freeing up future income. It promotes mindful spending and encourages living within your means.
By providing structure and insights into your financial situation, a household budget serves as a powerful tool for managing money wisely fostering healthier spending habits.
Determine your monthly total income.
List monthly expenses.
After you list all your expenses break them down into categories such as housing, utilities, groceries, transportation, special needs, debt repayment, entertainment, and savings.
Assign a specific dollar amount to each expense category based on your past spending patterns or estimates.
Allocate a portion of your income for savings. This can include emergency funds, retirement savings, or other financial goals.
Periodically update your budget to reflect changes in income, expenses, or financial goals to ensure its continued relevance and effectiveness.

Non-essential expenses include costs that contribute to comfort, entertainment, or luxury rather than meeting basic needs. These are discretionary expenses that can be adjusted based on personal preferences and financial priorities.
Set aside about 1 hour of your and your hubby’s time on a monthly basis, preferably during the weekend. Print your last month's bank statement, get your magic notepad with a pan, find a quiet place with minimal distractions, get your hubby on your side, and let the fun begin! Talk to your husband and discuss your essential needs and priorities together.
